2. National Ploughing Championships

Agreed: The Committee agreed that Mr Byrne would represent the Committee at the National Ploughing Championships on 26 September 2012.

3. Bovine TB Review – Committee consideration

The Committee discussed the Badger Control Programme/Wildlife

Intervention Study, DARD Strategy and Approach, Levels and Incidence

Rates and Testing and Surveillance.

There was no other business.

5. Date of the next meeting

Agreed: The next meeting of the Committee for Agriculture and Rural

Development will take place on Tuesday 25 September 2012, at 1.30 pm, Room 30, Parliament Buildings.
