APN 98 - 22/27: All Party group on Visual Impairment

A meeting of the All-Party Group (APG) on Visual Impairment will take place on Monday 6th March 2023, Committee room 30, 2.00pm-3.30pm.

The meeting will focus on the Curriculum Framework for Children and Young People with Visual Impairment (CFVI) with contributions from relevant professionals from GB and NI. CFVI provides a framework to support children and young people with sight loss to access the national curriculum and to develop the broad range of skills needed to learn alongside their peers and live independently in adulthood. The session will detail this evidence-based approach developed by professionals, children/young people, parents and carers.

All APGVI members will be issued an invite in addition to any other MLAs who wish to attend.

Tea/Coffee will be available in Committee room 30 from 1.30pm.
