BRITISH-IRISH COUNCIL ENERGY MINISTERIAL MEETING

The Speaker has received notification from the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in accordance with section 52A (1) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (as amended), that a British-Irish Council Energy Ministerial meeting will be held on the 12 February 2026.

ALL PARTY GROUP ON ACCESS TO JUSTICE

A meeting of the All-Party Group on Access to Justice has been arranged to take place on Tuesday 24 February 2026, from 1.00pm to 2.00pm in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings. The APG will focus on Lawyer Safety and Access to Justice.

ALL PARTY GROUP ON PARENTAL PARTICIPATION IN EDUCATION

A meeting of the All-Party Group on Parental Participation in Education will take place on Tuesday 10 March 2026 at 1.00pm online.

The meeting will be a stakeholder event, focusing on issues relating to attendance for children with SEN and will hear presentations from:

  • Children’s Law Centre
  • Autism NI
  • Angel Eyes

ALL PARTY GROUP ON TERMINAL ILLNESS

A hybrid meeting of the All-Party Group on Terminal Illness has been arranged to take place on Tuesday 24 February 2026 at 9.30 a.m. using Microsoft Teams, or alternatively in room 29 for those that would prefer to attend in person.

 

The group will be hearing from the following speakers:

  • Dr Lisa Graham-Wisener - Queen’s University Belfast School of Psychology
  • Sharon Williams - Project Manager, Compassionate Communities NI
  • Thelma Abernethy – Head of Cruse in Northern Ireland

All Members are welcome to attend.
