All-Party Group on Children and Young People

A remote/virtual meeting to discuss the establishment of an All-Party Group on Children and Young People and elect office bearers to the proposed group has been arranged to take place on 16 December 2025 at 12:00pm using the Microsoft Teams platform.

Sian Mulholland MLA is convening this APG and Children in Northern Ireland have agreed to be the secretariat. All Members are welcome to attend.

An invite will be emailed separately on request to any MLA who wishes to attend providing instructions on how to join the remote/virtual meeting.

All-Party Group on Carers

A remote/virtual meeting of the All-Party Group on Carers has been arranged to take place on 7January 2026 at 10.30am using the zoom platform.

The meeting will hear from Mark McGuicken, Director of Disability and Older People Department of Health and Chair of the Supporting Carers Workstream who will update on the work of the Social Care Collaborative Forum; the Alzheimer's Society will update on their Dementia Lived Experience Survey and; Carers NI will update on the Carers Allowance Overpayment Scandal.

All Members are welcome to attend. An invite will be emailed separately to each APG member (and, on request, to any other MLAs who wish to attend) providing instruction on how to join the remote/virtual meeting.

Annual General Meeting of the All-Party Group on Local Government

A hybrid Annual General Meeting of the All-Party Group on Local Government to carry out the annual election of office bearers has been arranged to take place on 20 January 2026 at 1.00pm using the Microsoft Teams platform or alternatively in Room 29 for those that would prefer to attend in person.
