PROPOSED ALL PARTY GROUP ON RARE DISEASES - CANCELLED MEETING

A virtual meeting to discuss the establishment of an All-Party Group (APG) on Rare Diseases and elect office bearers to the proposed group which was arranged to take place on Wednesday 26th March 2025 @ 2pm using the Microsoft Teams Platform has been cancelled.

A further notice will be issued to reschedule this meeting in due course. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Northern Ireland Rare Disease Partnership Charity (NIRDP) are leading a meeting to establish a Rare Disease All Party Group at the NI Assembly to create a platform for the 1 in 17 people affected by a rare disease - that's 110,000 people across NI.

ALL PARTY GROUP ON SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS

A meeting of the All-Party Group on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) will take place on Thurs 27 March at 4.45pm (coffee available from 4.30pm) in the Long Gallery.

This meeting will focus of skills for future growth in STEM and will include talks from the ABPI and the Royal Society of Chemistry. We will also hear updates on key issues and topics affecting the STEM sector - a key driver in the NI economy.

All Members are welcome to attend. The APG on STEM is currently seeking further MLAs to join the group and help drive the sectors potential in NI - please get in contact if you would like to hear more information.
