All Party Group on Rare Disease

A meeting of the All-Party Group (APG) on Rare Disease has been arranged to take place on Monday 12th September, 2pm in Rm 30, Parliament Buildings.

All existing and new Members are welcome to attend.

Northern Ireland Rare Disease Partnership provides the secretariat for the All Party Group. Please confirm your attendance with Edel Rogan, via email engage@nirdp.org.uk.

All Party Group on LGBTQIA+

A meeting of the All-Party Group on LGBTQIA+ has been arranged to take place on September 20th at 02:00pm in Committee Room 30.

While great strides have been made towards equality for LGBTQIA+ groups there are still many issues that remain to be dealt with.

There will be a presentation by Aisling Playford of the Rainbow Project on the LBGTQIA+ community in Northern Ireland and the issues they face, and Christopher Mcilwaine of Transgender NI who will speak more in-depth about the impact of multi-year wait times for Trans Healthcare has on people in Northern Ireland.
