A meeting of the All-Party Group on Voluntary and Community Sector has been arranged to take place on Wednesday 15 January 2025, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, taking place in NICVA offices 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB.

ALL PARTY GROUP ON AGEING AND OLDER PEOPLE
A virtual meeting of the All Party Group (APG) on Ageing and Older People has been arranged to take place on Tuesday 21st January at 1.00 – 2.00pm online via Zoom.
All Members are welcome to attend.
The meeting will provide an update on older people’s evidence to the consultation on the Programme for Government and hear presentations on the impact of the environment on healthy ageing. Officials from The Executive Office have been invited to give a short presentation on the engagement of older people with the Programme for Government consultation, including the issues raised. This will be followed by presentations by researchers from Queens’ University Belfast and Age NI about the SPACE Project – Supportive Environments for Physical and Social Activity, Healthy Ageing and Cognitive Health. Speakers will discuss research findings on how ageing is impacted by where we live, including a recent report into life for older people in rural and coastal areas.
An invitation with the meeting link and joining instructions will be emailed separately to each APG member and on request to any other MLAs who wish to attend.
