ALL PARTY GROUP ON UNSCR 1325, WOMEN, PEACE AND SECURITY

A remote/virtual meeting of the All-Party Group on UNSCR 1325, Women Peace and Security has been arranged to take place on Thursday 12 September 2024 at 2.00pm using the Zoom platform.

This meeting will focus on discussing violence against women and girls and the recent racist and Islamophobic riots and the impact of these on women and girls. There will also be a focus on the Social Inclusion Strategies.

All Members are welcome to attend.

An invite will be emailed separately to each APG member (and, on request, to any other MLAs who wish to attend) providing instruction on how to join the remote/virtual meeting.

ALL PARTY GROUP ON ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITY

A remote/virtual meeting of the All-Party Group on the Ethnic Minority Community has been arranged to take place on 2nd September 2024 at 3pm using the Zoom platform.

The meeting will focus on the responses to the recent far-right racist and Islamophobic violence that has taken place across Northern Ireland this Summer. We will have three speakers with lived experience reflecting on the events of the past month and exploring potential interventions and solutions.
