ALL PARTY GROUP ON UNSCR 1325 WOMEN, PEACE AND SECURITY

A remote/virtual meeting of the All-Party Group on UNSCR 1325, Women Peace and Security has been arranged to take place on Tuesday 2 May 2023 at 1.00pm using the Zoom platform.

The meeting will focus on the cost of living and funding crises and will feature a senior representative from the Department of Finance. The meeting will also focus on an event to be organised by the APG to mark the 25th anniversary of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement from a women’s perspective.

All Members are welcome to attend.

An invite will be emailed separately to each APG member (and, on request, to any other MLAs who wish to attend) providing instruction on how to join the remote/virtual meeting.

ALL PARTY GROUP ON MENTAL HEALTH

The All-Party Group on Mental Health will meet at 12:30pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023. This will be the fourth oral evidence session of the APG’s inquiry into Mental Health Education and Early Intervention in Schools.

The meeting will be virtual, and a Zoom link will be sent to members and observers in due course.  All Members are welcome to attend and all parties are encouraged to ensure representation on the APG.

ALL PARTY GROUP ON REDUCING HARM RELATED TO GAMBLING

The All-Party Group on Reducing Harm Related to Gambling will meet at 12:00pm on Monday 24 April 2023 in Room 29 to hear oral evidence from Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Donna Mullen who is the RCPsych NI Faculty of Addictions Psychiatry Chair and Dr Sharon McElroy, Consultant Lead Clinical Psychologist at the Alcohol and Drugs Service Asha Centre, Omagh will both be giving evidence alongside Professor Henrietta Bowden-Jones.

This will be the sixth oral evidence session of the APG’s inquiry into public health approaches to gambling-related harms in NI.
