EPISODE 2 OF ASSEMBLY EXTRA NOW ONLINE

Episode 2 of Assembly Extra is now online.

In this episode we meet the Speaker of the Assembly, William Hay to find out about his role – from chairing plenary sittings to receiving VIP visitors. We also take a look at why, and how, Assembly Committees hold inquiries.

Background

Assembly Extra is the new web-based programme developed by the Assembly’s Communications and Broadcast teams. The programme is a mix of features, interviews and behind the scenes insights into the workings of the Assembly.  Each programme is about ten minutes long.

All Members are invited to attend the first meeting of the Northern Ireland Assembly Parliamentary Group on the USA which will be held on Tuesday 8 May in Room 106 at 1.00pm
