Balmoral Show
The Northern Ireland Assembly will be holding a series of events at the Balmoral Show from Wednesday 16 to Friday 18 May 2012. The Assembly has a very busy programme and will be holding a number of events in two locations of the site.
King’s Hall Stand
The Outreach Team will be available on the Assembly stand in the King’s Hall (located at D6). The stand will provide information on the work of the Assembly, how to contact local MLAs, visiting Parliament Buildings and participating in the democratic process.
Meeting space
Three Committees, as well as the Northern Ireland Assembly and Business Trust (NIABT), will be holding meetings or events in a marquee on the Showground site (located at E14).
The Committees in attendance are:
- Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development;
- Committee for the Environment; and
- Committee for the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister.
In addition, the Assembly will host a Question and Answer session with members of the Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development on Thursday at 1.00pm. The Roadshow will provide the opportunity for attendees at the Balmoral Show to put their questions to a panel of MLAs.
The timetable of events is attached for your information.
