Action on Mental Health / NSMC Council Meetings

ACTION ON MENTAL HEALTH

Action on Mental Health, the Assembly’s charity of the year, is holding an event on Thursday 13 December 2012.

The event, entitled ‘Shine a light on Mental Health’, is scheduled to take place at 1.00pm, directly after the Assembly Carol Service.

Torches, which have been sponsored by MLAs, party staff and Secretariat will be placed in the grounds outside Parliament Buildings. The torches are a symbol of shining a light on the issue of mental health, and are available for sponsorship at the Assembly Gift Shop.

NORTH SOUTH MINISTERIAL COUNCIL MEETINGS IN LANGUAGE BODY
SECTORAL FORMAT AND AQUACULTURE AND MARINE SECTORAL FORMAT 

The Speaker received notification from the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in accordance with section 52A (1) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (as amended), that a North South Ministerial Council meeting in Language Body sectoral format; and a North South Ministerial Council meeting in Aquaculture and Marine sectoral format, will be held in Armagh, on 12 December 2012.
