A meeting of the All Party Group on Mental Health has been arranged to take place on Tuesday 27 November 2012 at 12:30pm in the Senate Chamber.

TOPIC: WELFARE REFORM - IMPLICATIONS FOR MENTAL ILLNESS

PROGRAMME

12:30pm         Introduction by Sue Ramsey MLA, Chair;

12:35pm         Talk by Kevin Higgins, Advice NI;

12:50pm         Personal perspectives by Deborah and Annette;

13:05pm         Open discussion; and

13:30pm         End of the meeting – attending MLAs will be asked to fill out a questionnaire on mental health service user involvement in politics.

Lunch will be provided.

2. ALL PARTY GROUP ON HEART DISEASE AND STROKE

A meeting of the All Party Group on Heart Disease and Stroke has been arranged to take place on Tuesday 20 November 2012 at 8.00am in Room 115.

The meeting will focus on Familial Hypercholesterolaemia and guest speakers, amongst others, include Andrew Dougal OBE, Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke Association; and Dr Colin Graham, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
