Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe (CLRAE)

CLRAE was established in 1994 and acts as the voice of Europe’s regions and municipalities in the Council of Europe.  It is split into two chambers, the Chamber of Local Authorities and the Chamber of Regions.  The body provides a forum to allow local and regional elected representatives from over 200,000 authorities to effectively participate in European government.
