3. Draft Minutes
Agreed: The Committee agreed the minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 07 October 2021.
4. Matters Arising
There were no matters arising.
5. Correspondence
i. The Committee considered the invitation from Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission to its Strategic Planning events.
Agreed: Members agreed to reply directly informing the Clerk if they plan to attend.
ii. The Committee noted the correspondence from Northern Ireland Human Rights Consortium.
Agreed: The Committee agreed to provide the Consortium with an update.
6. Forward Work
The Chairperson referred Members to the draft Forward Work Programme.
Agreed: Members agreed the Forward Work Programme, subject to discussions during the Committee’s informal session following this meeting.
7. Any Other Business
There was no other business.
8. Date, Time and Place of the next meeting
Members agreed to confirm the date and time of the next meeting during its informal session following this meeting.
The Committee moved to closed session at 2.34pm.
9. Rights for Inclusion – Consideration of potential rights
The Committee continued its reporting stage deliberations.
Agreed: Members agreed to provide a paper outlining their party’s position on the paper on rights for inclusion.
The Committee was provided with an update on the areas the Committee has reached agreement on; along with an overview of outstanding issues.
Agreed: Members agreed to consider these issues following the submission of position papers from all parties.
Agreed: The Committee agreed Thursday 18 November 2021 at 2:30pm as the date of the next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 2.51pm.
