Review of Topical Questions
The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee on Procedures is undertaking a Review of Topical Questions. Topical Question Time has been operational since September 2013, and a review is being carried out in line with the recommendation in the Committee's report on its Inquiry into Topical Questions that a review of the process be carried out six months after its introduction.
The Committee would welcome views on the Topical Questions process so far and suggestions on how it could be improved, so that Topical Question Time can become an even more effective way to challenge and scrutinise Ministers.
Any organisation or individual with an interest in this review is invited to submit written evidence. If possible, submissions should be sent electronically by emailing the Clerk to the Committee on Procedures at: alison.ross@niassembly.gov.uk
