Inclusive Customer Service Policy

In October 2016, the Assembly Commission signed up to the Equality Commission’s ‘Every Customer Counts’ initiative, which aims to encourage organisations and businesses across Northern Ireland to consider if they can improve the service they offer to clients and customers with a disability.

As part of this initiative, organisations are asked to develop a policy to tell its customers about the steps it has taken to make every customer count.

The Inclusive Customer Service Policy has been developed in consultation with the Equality Commission, and it sets out the Assembly Commission’s commitment to providing an accessible and welcoming environment for all.  It highlights the facilities available at Parliament Buildings for customers with a disability, and provides information on how they can engage with the work of the Assembly.
