Good Relations Action Plan 2016-21
Under Section 75(2) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, the Assembly Commission, when carrying out its functions relating to Northern Ireland, must have regard to the desirability of promoting good relations between persons of different religious belief, political opinion or racial group.
The Assembly Commission has prepared an action plan setting out how it proposes to fulfil this duty. Following public consultation, a final action plan for the period 2016-21 has been submitted to the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland. The action plan is available here.
