1. PRESENTATION

At the request of the evaluation panel the preferred bidder made a presentation and discussed and covered the following areas:

Understanding of the scheme
Investment processes 
Reporting and Resources
Contract Management and
Guarantees

2. RECOMMENDATION

The evaluation panel were assured with the clarifications provided by the preferred bidder and agreed that they were more content in awarding the contract to them.

Mr Gibson, Head of Procurement, recommended that the evaluation panel limit the length of the contract to 3 years and extensions to 1 year only to ensure compliance with procurement thresholds to which the evaluation panel agreed.

Mr Gibson stated that he would issue the contract award. He also confirmed that he would write to the unsuccessful bidders and would give them an opportunity for debriefing.
