ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE TO BE BRIEFED BY EQUALITY COMMSSION ON IMPLICATIONS OF UK SUPREME COURT RULING

The Assembly’s Committee for the Executive Office will receive a briefing from the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland on the implications of a landmark UK Supreme Court ruling (For Women Scotland Ltd v The Scottish Ministers) that defines ‘sex’ as biological under equality law.

Committee members will also hear from departmental officials on the Programme for Government’s first annual report.
