Education Committee to be briefed on Area Planning Consultation

At its next meeting on Wednesday 26 October 2016, the Assembly Committee for Education will receive a briefing from the Department of Education, Education Authority (EA) and the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools on the EA’s consultation on Area Planning which will cover the provision of primary, post-primary and special schools.  

Members will also discuss the Terms of Reference for the Committee’s upcoming inquiry into educational underachievement.
