Committee to host Digital Justice Conference

The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for Justice will host a 'Justice in the Digital Age' conference on 15 October in W5, starting at 2.00pm.

The conference will cover a range of issues including social media/cyber-bullying, cyber-crime and how the legal system can cope with the pace of technological change.

A number of local, national and international experts, including Jim Gamble, the Chief Executive of INEQE Group; Olivier Burgersdijk, Head of Strategy at Europol's European Cybercrime Centre; and the Lord Chief Justice, the Rt Hon Sir Declan Morgan QC, will give presentations and take questions from the delegates.

Media is welcome to attend and the Chairperson of the Committee, Alastair Ross, MLA, will be available for interview.
