Assembly Committee to Host ‘Women in Politics and the Northern Ireland Assembly’ Event

On Thursday 23 October, the Assembly and Executive Review Committee will host a round table event on its current Review into Women in Politics and the Northern Ireland Assembly.  

The event will bring  together participants from the local women’s groups as well as representatives from youth groups, trade unions, academia and the public and political sectors to discuss and debate what more can be done to increase the participation of women in the local political landscape.
