The Late Mr David McClarty MLA - Expressions Of Condolence

Following the sad news of the death of Mr McClarty during the Easter recess, William Hay, Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly will lead the Assembly in tributes/expressions of condolence as the first item of business on Monday 28 April 2014. 

The Speaker will pay his own tributes to Mr McClarty and then a representative of every party will be called, in normal party order, to speak. The sitting will then be suspended for approximately 30 minutes as a mark of respect. 
Business will resume at approximately 1.15pm.
