Committee to Receive Briefing From Social Security Advisory Committee

The Social Security Advisory Committee will brief the Social Development Committee (SSAC) at its meeting on Thursday 21 February 2013. 

The SSAC advises the Secretary of State for Social Security and the Department for Social Development (NI) on a range of Social Security matters. 

This timely briefing will provide the opportunity for Committee Members to discuss the SSAC’s work on Welfare Reform, with particular reference to Universal Credit, conditionality and the impact of the Welfare Reform Bill on the vulnerable.
