Committee Event Will Focus on High Levels of Local Repossessions

The Assembly Committee for Social Development and the Housing Rights Service will hold an important stakeholder event on Thursday 6 June 2013 to look at the high levels of housing repossessions locally.

Over 30 organisations from the local housing sector as well as housing experts from Great Britain and the South of Ireland will meet with the Committee to discuss how this issue has been tackled in other jurisdictions. Discussions will centre upon what can be done to alleviate the situation for those affected here.
