Assembly to Debate More Spontaneity for Assembly Question Time
Synopsis: On Monday, 15 April 2013, the Northern Ireland Assembly will debate the Procedures Committee Report into Topical Questions.

Monday, 15 April 2013, the Northern Ireland Assembly will debate the Procedures Committee Report into Topical Questions.
If agreed by MLAs, the introduction of a Topical Question Time will be the first time that local Ministers take spontaneous questions from Members on a wide variety of issues--questions on which Ministers have not had specific briefing.
The Debate is scheduled to begin at approximately 4pm when the Report will be published on the Assembly website.
The Chairperson of the Committee, Gerry Kelly, MLA will be available for interview before (as a pre-record) and after the debate.
