Media Operational Notice

A unique exhibition charting the construction of Parliament Buildings will be launched on Tuesday 23 October as part of the celebrations to mark the building’s 80^th anniversary.

The exhibition, which will be on display in the historic Great Hall until December, includes rarely seen photographs of the architect’s drawings, the various stages of construction and the workers involved in the project.

The exhibition launch will begin at 6.30pm in the Great Hall with remarks from the Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Mr William Hay MLA.
