Pudsey Bear to Launch Family Fun Day at Parliament Buildings

Parliament Building will play host to Pudsey Bear on Tuesday 1 May 2012, when he arrives at the Assembly to launch this year’s Family Fun Day which will take place on Bank Holiday Monday (4 June 2012).

Joining Pudsey to launch this year’s event will be the Minister for Finance and Personnel, Sammy Wilson MP MLA and Simon Hamilton MLA.

Family Fun Day takes place annually on the Stormont Estate and incorporates a range of amusements, games and entertainment aimed at the whole family. Proceeds from the event go to Children in Need.

This year the Northern Ireland Assembly will be aiming to break its 2011 record by welcoming more than 2,300 visitors to Parliament Buildings.

Schedule:     2pm – 3pm: Main Event Launch, Front of Parliament Buildings

3pm – 3.30pm: Room 115 Parliament Buildings, launch speech from Simon Hamilton MLA.
