Committee for the Environment to hear from Minister on 11 Council Model

The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for the Environment will receive a briefing from the Minister for the Environment, Alex Attwood, on implementation of the 11 Council model which will see the number of local councils in Northern Ireland reduced from 26 to 11.

The Committee will also receive a briefing on the performance of the Planning Service by Dr Tom Frawley, Northern Ireland Ombudsman and Ms Marie Anderson, Northern Ireland Ombudsman’s Office.
