Speaker Hosts Event to Mark Diamond Jubilee

The Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, William Hay MLA, will host an event this evening (Monday 18 June) to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The event in the Great Hall, Parliament Buildings will begin at 7.00pm and will feature contributions from a number of organisations of which the Queen is Patron, including Co-Operation Ireland, St John Ambulance and Barnardo’s, as well as music from the Boys Brigade Centenary Male Voice Choir and the Open Arts Choir.  Lord Lieutenant Dame Mary Peters, DBE will be in attendance.
