Social Development Committee to visit North West Regeneration Projects

The Assembly Committee for Social Development will visit the North West on Thursday 27 October 2011, when MLAs will visit key regeneration sites including the former Fort George military site which has been earmarked for mixed use development and the new Peace Bridge.

As well as a tour of regeneration projects, the Committee will also hold its weekly meeting at the Millennium Forum, where MLAs will hear from ILEX, The Regeneration Company, on their continuing regeneration and development plans for the city.

The Committee will meet at the Millennium Forum at 10am, before beginning their tour at the Peace Bridge at 1.00pm.

Members of the media are welcome to attend both the Committee meeting and the site visits.
