Committee sees the Best the Cathedral Quarter has to Offer

The Assembly’s Committee for Social Development will visit Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter on Thursday 3 May 2012, where it will hold its weekly meeting in the recently opened Belfast Metropolitan Arts Centre (MAC). 

As well as receiving a tour of the Belfast MAC, Members will meet with representatives from the Cathedral Quarter Steering Group and take part in a walking tour of the area.

The Committee visit will coincide with the opening day of the Annual Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and Members will get the opportunity to sit in on a rehearsal by the Belfast Circus School as well as meeting with festival participants and the general arts community.  

The meeting will be open to the public and the media are welcome to attend.
