This is one of four statutory instruments which together amend retained European Union (“EU”) legislation relating to the Common Market Organisation (“CMO”) with a common objective of, directly or indirectly, supporting prices received by agricultural producers, and the Agri-Promotion scheme. These instruments will address operability issues created by the United Kingdom (“UK”) leaving the EU. These instruments will ensure that the CMO can continue to operate effectively after EU Exit. 

The other three instruments are:

• The Common Organisation of the Markets in Agricultural Products Framework (Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019
• The Market Measures (Marketing Standards) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019
• The Market Measures Payment Schemes (Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019
