The Novel Food (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (the instrument) fixes inoperabilities in the retained EU legislation on novel foods so that it will continue to operate as domestic law after the UK has left the EU. The instrument amends the Novel Foods Regulations (EU) 2015/2283 (“the EU Regulation”) together with its associated implementing acts.
