This instrument makes drafting amendments to Northern Ireland domestic legislation in order to ensure operability following the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union. It also amends Northern Ireland EU Exit Statutory Instruments to update earlier amendments made to Northern Ireland secondary legislation. 

The instrument amends two Northern Ireland EU Exit  SIs (the Marketing of Seeds and  Plant Propagating Material (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 and the Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (Amendment) (Northern  Ireland) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 to update earlier operability changes, to amend a  drafting error and thus ensure that the legislation amended by these SIs are fully  operable after EU Exit.
