The Marriage and Civil Partnership Bill was formally introduced by the Minister of Finance on Monday 16 March 2026. The Bill completed its Second Stage on Monday 20 April 2026 and was referred to the Committee for Finance for scrutiny (the Committee Stage of the Bill).
