Committee visit to Blackiston Houston Estate, 26th June 2025

The Committee visited the Blackiston Houston Estate on Thursday 26th June 2025. 

The visit was arranged to allow Members to hear more about the work the Farm2Export Project and the process of livestock slurry separation that BH Estates and their consortium partners are developing. The event included  a visual demonstration of the supply chain of materials from slurry, chicken litter and factory waste to organo mineral fertiliser and the associated environmental benefits.
