The Committee for Justice met at 2 p.m. on Wednesday 18 February 2015, in Room 21 Parliament Buildings, when the Committee received oral evidence from the Department of Justice on the Justice Bill including Part 1 Single Jurisdiction, Part 7 Violent Offences Prevention Orders, Part 8 Juries and Defence Access to Premises, Part 2 Committal for Trial, Part 8 Early Guilty Pleas, Avoiding Delay and Public Prosecutor’s Summons and on new policy addition amendments relating to PACE (NI) - Fingerprint and DNA Retention.
