Committee for Justice Meeting - 04 March 2015

The Committee for Justice met on Wednesday 4 March 2015, at 2.00 p.m. in Room 21 when the Committee was briefed by NI Prison Service officials on the Delivery of the Prison Reform Programme and the NI Prison Estate Strategy.

The Committee was also briefed by department officials on the Proposals to Vary Firearms Licensing Fees and other Miscellaneous Amendments to Firearms Legislation.

The Committee gave informal consideration of Part 1 – Single Jurisdiction, Part 2 – Committal for Trial, Part 6 – Live Links, Part 7 – Violent Offences Prevention Orders, Part 8 – Miscellaneous and Part 9 – Supplementary Provisions.
