Visit to Edinburgh
In October 2013 Members of the Committee for Education undertook a fact-finding visit to Edinburgh and the surrounding area. Over the two-days Members visited schools and met with a number of individuals including the Minister for Learning, Science and Scotland's Languages; the Scottish Committee for Education and Culture; the former Chair and other Members of the Commission for the Delivery of Rural Education; representatives from the Scottish Qualifications Authority and Education Scotland; a representative from the STEM Education Committee; and a number of Scottish Government officials.
