Learning to Learn

The Department issued its revised Early Years strategy – Learning to Learn - for consultation in December 2012.  The strategy includes proposals for: a review of Sure Start; the extension of the Foundation Stage to include a non-compulsory year; the development of Early Years Education Clusters; piloting of different staff to children ratios; and limits on new full time provision.  The Department’s consultation document can be found here.
