Establishment of an Ad hoc Committee on Local Postal Services

An Ad Hoc Committee has been set up within the Northern Ireland Assembly to consider, and make proposals for, partnerships that could enhance the economic case for viable local postal services, and to submit a report to the Assembly by 2 June 2008.

Any organisation or individual who wishes to submit written evidence to the Committee is invited to do so by 16 May 2008 at 12.00 noon.

Submissions should be limited to 1,500 words and sent (preferably by e-mail in word format) to:
