1. Chairperson's business
The Chairperson advised that the Committee would not meet during the forthcoming recess period, 28 October - 5 November.
The Committee Clerk reported that the Training and Employment Agency had been added to the programme of public evidence sessions and that a revised programme would be issued to members.
Agreed - to issue, to members, a list of those organisations that were invited to give oral evidence but did not respond.
Dr McDonnell and Mr Attwood joined the meeting at 10.25am
2. Apologies
Apologies were received from Mr W Clyde.
3. Minutes of previous meetings
The minutes of 4 September and 6 September were agreed.
4. Matters arising
There were no matters arising.

5. Public evidence session - Queens University
The witnesses from Queens University gave evidence, in public, to the Committee on its inquiry into Strategy 2010. The University gave their views on Strategy 2010 and answered a number of questions put by the Committee.
6. Public evidence session - Association of NI Colleges
Mr Hunter and Mr Place gave evidence, in public, to the Committee on its inquiry into Strategy 2010 and answered a number of questions put by the Committee.
