Senior Leadership Team
The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) brings together the Assembly Commission’s Clerk/Chief Executive and directors to form its collective strategic and operational leadership. Its role is to provide the Assembly with the property, staff and services that it needs to carry out its business and deliver the Assembly Commission’s Corporate Strategy. It does so by advising and supporting the Clerk/Chief Executive in the exercise of her non-procedural duties.
Individual directorate responsibilities are delegated to SLT members by the Clerk/Chief Executive. Therefore, SLT members have both individual and collective responsibility for the effective operation of the Assembly Commission. However, the Clerk/Chief Executive retains final authority for all decisions taken at SLT.
SLT comprises the Clerk/Chief Executive as Chair and the Directors of:
- Corporate Services;
- Legal, Governance and Research Services and
- Parliamentary Services.
