APN 544-22/27 regarding the All Party Group on International Development
A virtual meeting of the all-Party Group on International Development will be held on 19th June, 10.30am – 11.30am on the theme of ‘Children in Conflict Situations’ using MS Teams.
This meeting will explore the impacts of conflict on children and young people, impacts such as displacement, access to education and healthcare, protection from violence and exploitation, and the long-term psychological and social effects of war and instability on children and families.
We are pleased to confirm the participation of speakers from Save the Children and Christian Aid, with additional contributors to be announced shortly. The discussion will provide an opportunity to hear expert perspectives, reflect on current global challenges, and hear about the work of CADA member agencies.
All Members are welcome to attend. An invite will be emailed separately to each APG member. Your participation would be highly valuable in helping to shape an informed dialogue on this important issue.
