The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission (NIAC) has 530 desktop PCs at Parliament Buildings and the brands are Dell, HP and FMS.

The NIAC has 77 laptops /notebooks and tablet PCs and the brands are Fujitsu Siemens, Toshiba, Samsung, Apple, Acer and Asus.

The NIAC has thin clients at Parliament Buildings and the brand is Wyse.

The NIAC run Windows 7 Enterprise on PCs/Laptops.

 The NIAC has a total of 951b desktops, laptops and thin clients in the organisation.

The NIAC has 29 physical servers on site and the brands are Compaq, HP and Apple.

The NIAC has 46 virtual servers on site at Parliament Buildings.

The NIAC use Microsoft Hyper-V.

The NIAC use Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Cent OS and MAC OS X.

There is no ‘out of warranty’ support currently on desktops and on Compaq/HP Servers.  ‘Out of warranty’ support on Apple equipment is supplied by Mac-Sys Ltd.

The NIAC use HP and Isilon.

The NIAC use Microsoft Sharepoint.

The NIAC use Microsoft SQL, MY SQL and Microsoft Access.

The NIAC use Sun Accounts.

The NIAC use Cintra HR.

The NIAC use BT, BTNet Service lines, our ISP is 40Mbps

BT is our primary voice carrier.            

The NIAC has 750 phone extensions at Parliament Buildings.

Allcalls go over a conventional phone line – Digital Access Signalling System.

The NIAC use Siemens ISDX 3000 at Parliament Buildings.

BT has the PBX maintenance contract, which expires September 2013.
