We collect and hold to following details to support the Committee for Education in its call for artwork to understand the impact on Covid-19 lockdown and restart Impact on emotional wellbeing and mental health of Children and Young People.

Name and age: Your name and age may be used on Assembly related websites, social media channels or publications.

Artwork: Any submitted art, photographs or short stories may be used on the Assembly related websites, social media channels or publications.

If you do not want your artwork to appear in the Assembly related websites, social media channels or publications please contact engagement@niassembly.gov.uk

 

What is the lawful basis for processing my personal information?

The lawful basis for processing personal data is by consent.

 

Where do you get my personal data from?

You will provide your information.

 

Do you share my personal data with anyone else?

Your name and age will be shared on related websites, social media channels or publications.

 

Do you transfer my personal data to other countries?

Information about the Committee for Education’s artwork project may be shared with other legislatures, including images of your work and your name.

 

How long do you keep my personal data?

You name and artwork (art, photograph, short stories) may be retained by the Assembly indefinitely as a record of the project.  Any artwork which we publish into the public domain will remain there. The artwork we keep may be used in the future without reference to the event.

The contents of the artwork libraries will be reviewed every five years and any images deemed no longer suitable for use will be removed and destroyed. 

 

What rights do I have?

  • You have the right to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed, and access to your personal data
  • You are entitled to have personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete
  • You have a right to have personal data erased and to prevent processing, in specific circumstances
  • You have the right to ‘block’ or suppress processing of personal data, in specific circumstances
  • You have the right to data portability, in specific circumstances
  • You have the right to object to the processing, in specific circumstances
