Latest News

The Committee held a fully virtual meeting on 17 February 2021 and received a briefings from Action for Children on its Blues Programme.

Members also heard from the Department of Education on the Curriculum Sports Programme and Healthy Kidz on physical activity and welfare.

The Committee will meet again in formal session on 24 February 2021 at 9:30am when they will hear from Parent Action and the Department of Education on restraint and seclusion.

The Committee will also consider an Assembly Research paper on the UNCRC which will include reference to restraint and seclusion

 


During the Covid-19 lockdown, when it was not possible for the Committee to conduct its usual meetings, it has undertaken informal meetings. View the record of these informal meetings.
