2.    Integrated Education Bill – Legal services briefing

The Committee noted legal advice on proposed amendments to the Integrated Education Bill.

The following witness joined the meeting by video conference at 9:09am:

Mr Jonathan McMillen, Head of Legal Services

Mr McMillen briefed the Committee on his legal advice regarding the Integrated Education Bill.

Mrs Dodds joined the meeting at 9:11am.

This was followed by a question and answer session.

Mrs Dodds left the meeting at 10:11am.

Mr Butler left the meeting at 10:17am.

Mr Harvey left the meeting at 10:19am

The Chairperson thanked the witness for the briefing.

3.    Integrated Education Bill – Informal consideration of the Bill

Committee members discussed the clauses of the Integrated Education Bill.

4.   Date, Time and Place of the next meeting

The next formal Committee meeting will be held on Monday 22 November 2021 by video conference at 9:00am. 

The meeting was adjourned at 10:47am.
